Randomly chance upon this shop in Hong Kong, was searching for "polo bun near me" and this came popup. Although it's about 3 star on google review but I find their fried noodle is so delicious and their polo bun is so fragrance.Definitely must try their fried noodle!
Must get the pineapple bun with butter. The pork bun is tough Af.Tomato pork chop looks good.Iced coffee tastes like diabetes.Long lines outside.Limited sesting capacity causing you to squeeze with people.
Their kumquat drink is a must to try. Excellent and shockingly good. Coffee, tea is in local style. Thick creamy and full bide. Egg tarts is great. Overall excellent old school coffee tea cafe and a nice place to drop by.
Last time we were here was c. 2016/17. Good memories eating here again. Polo yao(Polo bun with butter) and egg tart was good. Noodles were just soso. There is breakfast set, lunch set and tea set available but written in Chinese, so get your google translate ready.
Really nice classic Hong Kong cct. Go 15 mins before it opens as there will be queues. Try the pineapple bun with butter. Ice lemon tea. Egg tart and club sandwich. All so good. Friendly happy staff. Even the older waiters are accommodating. Had the table that looks into the kitchen. Watching the chefs cook up the dishes was amazing. Spotless and clean and worked like if they were in a Michelin star restaurant. Recommended if you are in the flower market area.
I really really really liked the Pineapple bun. The outer layer was very crispy, and the inside was very soft and fluffy. This was my first time trying a pineapple bun. Was amazing with the butter inside! Service was very helpful and fast! Loved it! Thank you
Love the food, the atmosphere and the service!Polo Bun is to go! Crispy outside, soft inside!Their beef in the noodle and fried rice is super soft and tender!Loved their red bean cold drink, unfortunately I finished the drink before I was able to capture it.Definitely recommended!
Came here for their famous buttered pineapple bun (菠蘿油) and French toast (西多士) paired with their thick HK style milk tea and coffee for breakfast. Oh wow, they were excellent. As we went there early, it wasn't too busy and the pastries were fresh out of the oven. The buttered pineapple bun was very soft topped with a crispy crust. The French toast was quite eggy but not greasy. Both weren't very sweet which we preferred.Definitely recommend visiting here.
